A boat excursion around the north of Mauritius will enable you to discover not only its amazing nature, plants, beaches and trees but also it’s incredible crystal clear water. Bernache Island and the mangrove’s of Amber Island are a must to do when visiting Mauritius where you can discover the magical landscapes that the country has to offer.
How does this excursion work?
You meet the team at 10 am at Cap Malheureux (GPS: -19.986160,57.618065). Climb aboard to start your amazing full day boat trip. The Wanderlust Wave team will welcome you on board and the captain will look after you and answer any questions you may have. The tour starts with a ride of 15 min inside the lagoon of Mauritius to the Mangrove for a first stop. You will be able to enjoy the nature and feel free to take a dip… then the crew will serve you a first drink to start the day.
The second stop is Bernache island, just 5 minutes away. This is a small desert island which you can easily walk round it under 20 minutes. You will be able to see many different landscapes, rocks, beaches, forests and mangroves. Lunch will be served at 12 noon on Bernache island.
After lunch you will have time to relax on the beach and swim, surrounded by an amazing natural landscape. After some time you will head back to the boat for the next snorkelling stop 35 minutes away.This is an ideal spot for swimming with the turtles offers great snorkelling.Afterwards enjoy a last drink on the boat, before arriving back on the mainland of Mauritius around 4pm.
